I will forever be grateful to my friend Lara for sharing this gem of a spot with me just south of Cleveland. Though she has long since moved away, I still take my little’s here every year to pick yummy fresh strawberries. I am a big believer in traditions worth keeping. Not only are the views breathtaking, but if you time it right the warm air is filled with the scent of glorious strawberries. My helpers keep getting bigger and the picking is done in no time. There are a lot of berries that end up in our bellies. I will happily enjoy my freezer jam all year long and patiently wait until next year when we can do it all over again.
