I had the pleasure of hanging out with the darling family that built and owns The Wilds Venue here in Bloomington, IN. (Side note, if you have an event coming up and you’re looking for somewhere to have it you should really check out The Wilds! It is designed to perfection, gorgeous, and set in the beautiful quiet forest on the edge of Bloomington. Plus you’d get to work with Alison, and that, in itself, is reason enough to host at The Wilds!) From the moment I came in contact with Alison her giant heart was shining through. She is the most kind and lovely person, sharing and caring in a way that becomes infectious. We got to include the venue in their family film, riding in the golf cart to get there. They fed the fish, picked tomatoes, danced, played with toys, ate watermelon, and snuggled up reading a good book before heading off to bed. My heart loves family films, it really captures the here and now in a way that stops time so you can always return to how it used to be.
