We recently got a book from the library about a family that lives in a snow globe that sits on the fireplace mantle. Then I started looking around and realized that I must be that family that sits on the mantle and lives in a snow globe! I’m not going to lie, this winter has been a bit hard and I’m a bit stir crazy. I like having all the seasons…but I draw the line when it’s too cold to go outside and play in the snow (you know, like -30 degrees). This day, on the other hand, had beautiful snow flakes falling down covering the undisturbed branches of the trees. Which just happens to be one of my favorite mother nature things. My kids are living the good life with a sledding trail off our deck stairs, a snowman named Olaf with stick arms that hold a snowball, and an igloo turned into a snowball fortress. And that is one great snow globe to be living in!
